WCYP 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday 13th December Warwickshire Club for Young People (WCYP) held its Annual 5-A-Side Football Championships at the Sports Connexion in Ryton-on-Dunsmore. We had an extremely high number of entries this year with teams entered from seven WCYP affiliated clubs. They were Coventry Boys' Club, Dosthill Boys' Club, Positive Futures Coventry, Willenhall ABC, Bradby Club, Coventry YMCA and Nuneaton Club for Young People. We had players from as young as 9 to as old as 16 take part in the day with 100 Young People in total enjoying the football.

There was a very high standard of play on display during the day and everybody who took part said it was an enjoyable event. We are already looking forward to next year's event and plan to make it even bigger and better that ever. Results are as follows;
