WCYP U19s 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday 24th January 2009 Warwickshire Clubs for Young People held its first annual event of the year, our under 19s 5-A-Side Football Championships. The event was held at Nuneaton Club for Young People with entries from Dosthill Boys' Club, Coventry YMCA and the newly affiliated club Prosperous Communities of Nuneaton with their team the Nuneaton Aces. We had 22 young people take part in total who were all there to enjoy playing some good football.

There was a very high standard of play on display during the day and everybody who took part said it was an enjoyable event. We are already looking forward to next year's event and plan to make it even bigger and better. Results are as follows;
