WCYP FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday 20^th September 2008 WCYP held its annual Fishing Championships. The event took place at Kingfisher Pool in Myton Fields, Warwick. There were 10 young people competing in the tournament with prizes being awarded for Heaviest Fish and over all Heaviest Catch. 

Members from Dosthill Boys' Club made up the majority of entries who also brought a large number of leaders and helpers. The day was a huge success and enjoyed by all the young people who took part. There was a lot of expert advice on hand and the young people managed to pick up some top tip. We are now looking forward to next year's event and would like to make it even bigger and better with more young people taking part.
