TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

On Wednesday 2^nd July 2008 Warwickshire Clubs for Young People held its Annual Tennis Championships at Sydneham Sports Centre. We had a number of entries from affiliated clubs. With it being an outdoor event we were lucky enough for the rain to hold off and enjoyed a very competitive event with some fantastic tennis played in both the Junior and Senior age groups.

It was nice to see the event back on the calendar this year after is had to be cancelled the previous year due to poor weather. We would now like to take this opportunity to increase interest in the sport and hopefully make next year's event even bigger and better. All the young people who took part this year had an enjoyable time and are already looking forward to taking part in further WCYP events. Results are as follows;
