9 BALL POOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday 21^st June 2008 Warwickshire Clubs for Young People held it's second annual 9 Ball Pool Tournament. The Event took place at Riley's American Pool and Snooker Club in Coventry. On the day we had entries from Dosthill Boys Club, Coventry Boys' Club and the Bradby Club. The Event was organised and ran by members of Dosthill Boy's Club who completed their Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership twelve months ago. The event was run in conjunction with another English Pool event which was organised and ran by staff and helpers from Coventry Boys' Club. All those who took part had an enjoyable day with a number of parents and supporters commented on how well the day was organised and ran. This is a real complement to the members of Dosthill Boys' Club. WCYP now hopes that this event shall continue to go from strength to strength and get bigger each year.  Results are as follows.
