WCYP LAUNCHES NEW LOOK After sixty years of helping children and young people to participate in sports activities, Warwickshire Clubs for Young People has launched a fresh identity and is celebrating its new look website, going live this week.Previously known as Warwickshire Association of Boys' Clubs, the organisation changed its name in 2004 to reflect the diversity of the clubs and young people with whom it works. Warwickshire Clubs for Young People may be sixty years old, but it has continued to innovate, by announcing an exciting new programme of activities through its Sport4Youth initiative. Sport4Youth has been designed to create chances for young people to meet and participate in a wide variety of different sports and leisure activities such as kayaking, scuba diving, archery, fishing and golf. It is open to all affiliated and non-affiliated youth clubs and groups throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull.Rob Sabin, County Director said: “Our new website going live this week, marks the beginning of a new era for Warwickshire Clubs for Young People. Our charity is committed to introducing young people to sports and leisure activities that they may never otherwise experience”. “After sixty years of working with young people, we know that by encouraging them to participate in sport, we help to increase their confidence, social skills and fitness levels.
