WCYP AGM 2011

On Tuesday 5th July WCYP held it's 2011 AGM at Nuneaton Club for Young People. The meeting was attended by leaders and young people from Nuneaton CYP, The Bradby Club, Colebridge Boys' Club, Dosthill Boys' Club, Willenhall ABC and Coventry Boys' Club as well as representatives from WAYC and WCVYS. The main focus of the evening was us to celebrate the achievements of young people from WCYP affiliated clubs over the past 12 months. We awared the Mary Holbrook Rosebowl Award to Robert Arundel from Coventry Boys' Club and the Ken Hitchman Club of the Year went to Dosthill Boy's Club, two very deserved winners. Young people spoke about their experience of our Senior Member Training and what it is like to gain a Level Two Award in Community Sports Leadership. The evening was rounded off with an exhibition match from the 2011 CPY U19 National Table Tennis Champion ‘V ‘ The  2011 CPY U19 National Table Tennis Runner Up.
