LEVEL TWO AWARD IN COMMUNITY SPORTS LEADERSHIP - FEBRUARY 2011During the recent February half term holiday, young people aged over 16 years old and youth workers from Coventry and Warwickshire made the most of the week by working towards their Level Two Award in Community Sports Leadership. The course was delivered by Warwickshire Clubs for Young People (WCYP) and hosted by the Bradby Club in Rugby. On the course, there were young people from Coventry Boys Club, Willenhall ABC, Lillington Youth Centre and the Bradby Club as well as youth workers from Rugby Council. During the week they learnt new skills such as leadership and communication, improvisation and adaptation, teaching fitness and how to run events and tournaments. In order to complete the qualification they are all required to deliver 10 hours of voluntary leadership with their local community. The qualification is nationally recognised and will enhance the CVs of all those who complete it. 28/02/2011
