Warwickshire Clubs for Young People (WCYP) provides young people with new and exciting challenges and opportunities through sports and activities. These activities range from fishing, football, pool and table tennis through to kayaking, canoeing, outdoor residential experiences and accredited training.

Why sports and challenging activities?

WCYP believes that by providing young people with these opportunities they can empower themselves by gaining motivation, confidence and self-esteem to overcome and address the issues that they face in day-to-day life. Many young people experience health issues and barriers to learning and social inclusion.  The medium of sport helps young people overcome these barriers and most importantly gives them the opportunity to have FUN.

However, all this comes at a cost and WCYP needs financial support in order to continue this valuable work!

Can you help us to open the door to youth work in your area?

WCYP is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2007, and has created a new initiative called Sport4Youth, a superb resource for young people throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull.
