 We are a charity that strives to support and enrich the lives of young people, in partnership with youth clubs and groups across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull. Our mission is to create opportunities for young people to participate in sport and leisure activities. Exercise certainly brings fitness and new friends, but there are other benefits too, such as increased confidence and good social skills. Thousands of young people take part in our sports and leisure activities each and every year and this being our 60th Anniversary, we are confident that it works! ARE YOU A YOUTH WORKER LOOKING FOR A CHALLENGE?
Due to retirement a vacancy arises for the position of Club Leader from June 2010.
Do you have:
Ø Proven experience of working with young people?
Ø Strong leadership and people skills?
Ø Good presentation and negotiation skills?
Ø The ability to motivate and inspire those around you?
Ø The vision and dedication to enable our young people to fulfil their full potential?
Ø An understanding of how a voluntary centre is run?
Ø The ability to work on your own initiative?
Ø Lots of enthusiasm, common sense and a good sense of humour?
Ø The ability to drive a mini bus?
Ø Fund raising skills and the ability to complete funding applications?

The right attitude, skills and knowledge are as important as any qualification. Salary will be negotiable, but inline with running a major full time youth centre.
